Director Kerin Pratt began working in flooring at just ten years old during school holidays. By seventeen, he was operating as a full-time self-employed contractor. Kerin now has diplomas in project management/operations management and product development.

Kerin established the commercial side of the business in 2004 in the Queenstown region, originally trading as Remarkable Flooring. As the company grew beyond the region and expanded into nationwide commercial projects, it was rebranded in 2013 as Commercial Flooring Specialists to better reflect its larger-scale focus and New Zealand-wide coverage.

Today, the company operates across New Zealand, delivering commercial flooring solutions for retail spaces, offices, hospitality venues, airports, commercial environments and large-scale projects. Its reputation is built on practical advice, reliable workmanship and the ability to manage projects of every size, from a single staff-room vinyl installation to a full multi-storey fit-out.

The business has also continued to expand its services, diversifying into epoxy coatings and hygienic wall cladding, with Kerin also serving as the sole director/importer of New Zealands leading Jemiclad hygenic wall cladding solution.
